Comerica Data Capture, Origination, and Risk Rating (DCORR) System Training

2005/2006 - The Emdicium Group, Inc.

Elements: A two-hour Credit Officer Overview presentation, a two-day, case-study based Loan Origination workshop, and four hours of fully-simulated, case-study-based Risk Rating e-learning, supported by quick reference guides, full reference guides, instructor materials, and participant materials. Course materials and storyboards were developed using Microsoft Word. The e-learning was programmed using Captivate.

My Role - Design/Development/Validation: Consulted with Comerica subject matter experts to determine scope and content. Working from functional specifications and validating once system modules came online, developed detailed quick reference and full reference materials, instructor’s guides, and participant materials. Developed detailed storyboards for the web-based training. Served as micro-level designer and developer on a team that also included another developer, a visual designer, and a programmer.

Chrysler Financial Financial Agent Workbench (FAW) System Web-based Training

2005/2006 - The Emdicium Group, Inc.

Elements: An interactive, web-based course that teaches Financial Agents and Specialists to perform a variety of transactions for retail and lease customers. Storyboards were developed using Microsoft Word. The e-learning was programmed using Flash.

My Role - Update of Existing Materials, Development of New Materials: Consulted with Chrysler Financial subject matter experts to determine scope and content. Developed storyboards for programming.

International Material Data System (IMDS) Web-based Training

2003/4 - The Emdicium Group, Inc.

Elements: Four hours of fully-simulated, case-study-based e-learning, brief user’s guide, reference materials, and case study materials. Storyboards and course materials were developed using Microsoft Word. The e-learning was programmed using JavaScript.

My Role - Design/Development/Validation: Consulted with MDSMap subject matter experts to determine scope and content. Developed detailed storyboards to be used for programming. Served as sole micro-level designer and developer on a team that also included a programmer and a graphic artist.


 

e1291 Material and Toxicology System (EMATS) Web-based Training

2000 - The Emdicium Group, Inc.

Elements: Web-based training, using a web-based simulation of the actual system, and a system quick reference guide. Materials were developed using Dreamweaver and Microsoft Word.

My Role - Design/Development: Consulted with Ford subject matter experts to determine scope and content. Used electronic copies of system screens to develop a system simulation. Used electronic rapid prototyping to develop and obtain approval of drafts.

Restricted Substance Management and Recycling (RSM/R) System Web-based Training

1999/2000 - The Emdicium Group, Inc.

Elements: Web-based training, using a Web-based simulation of the actual system, and a system reference manual. Materials were developed using Dreamweaver, JavaScript, and Microsoft Word.

My Role - Design/Development/Update: Consulted with Ford subject matter experts to determine each module’s scope and content. Worked with vendor programmer to design a simulation of the system. Used electronic rapid prototyping to develop and obtain approval of drafts. Worked with the vendor programmer to coordinate module materials with JavaScript components. Made simple editorial changes to the JavaScript under direction of the programmer.

TRW Project Data Management (PDM) System Workshop

1997/1998 - The Emdicium Group, Inc.

Elements: Instructor’s guide, wall charts, participant’s guide, quick reference guide, and an optional PowerPoint presentation for instructors who could not project a computer image. Materials were developed using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

My Role - Design/Development/Validation: Consulted with TRW subject matter experts to determine scope and content. Used paper-based rapid prototyping to develop and obtain approval of drafts.
